At Maids Moreton Pre-School we are privileged to employ a strong and diversely experienced staff team. Each individual member has unique skills that contribute overall to the care that is offered to each and every child.
The staff team have responsibility for the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, including ensuring that all the pre-school’s polices and procedures are correctly understood and adhered to.
We are committed to staff training and support continuous professional development for staff at all levels. Our staff hold the appropriate Childcare qualifications, Our Manager is qualified to a Level 6, and one of our practitioners has qualified Teacher Status, Our Deputies are qualified to a Level 5 and 3 and two further staff are qualified to a Level 3.
All our staff are qualified in core training including safeguarding children, paediatric first aid and level 2 food hygiene.
Our staff have training and knowledge, working with children with Autism, ASD, Downs Syndrome as well as supporting children with speech and language delay.
We work together with specialists teachers, therapist, and advisors to enhance the learning and development of the children in our care.
Staffing levels:
Child ratios are in line with the regulatory guidelines, which specify one member of
staff to five children for 2 year-olds, and one member of staff to eight children from 3-5-year-olds.
